Villa Codelli

Villa Codelli – winery, restaurant and farm accommodation – stands in Mossa, Gorizia (Italy).

The Villa, in which concerts are organised in the summer, was purchased in the mid-18th century by Barone Agostino Codelli, to whose family it still belongs. From this beautiful residence, the Conte de Chambord, heir to the French throne in exile in Gorizia, would set off on hunting trips.

The little church of Our Lady of the Assumption stands against the Villa. Now, in the hills of Collio, we produce our wines with care and attention, with modern techniques and following tradition.

We restored old farmers’ buldings to accommodate you with all today comforts and the allure of an historic place in our agriturismo. And we offer the location for your special day, events, meetings and dinner parties in our 18th century folatoio, with the charme of the old stone walls under the magnificent wood truss.
